GROWING FOOD FOR FOOD BANKS

RESTORING CONNECTION WITH THE EARTH AND WITH EACH OTHER.

A growing project created by the community, for the community.

Devon Dig and Donate CIC is a new community project based at Heathfield Farm in Broadclyst near Exeter, with a mission to provide fresh produce to donate to food banks and community organisations supporting vulnerable people and those experiencing food poverty within Exeter and the surrounding local communities.

Our aim is not just to provide produce for families and individuals, but to equip and empower the community with the skills needed to be able to grow, harvest and use fresh produce themselves.

Support our project

Support for our community growing project is crucial in ensuring that we can continue our efforts to alleviate food poverty in the local area. By making a donation, you enable us to maintain and expand our initiatives, providing fresh produce to those in need and fostering a stronger, healthier community. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us sustain our work and reach more individuals and families who rely on our support. Your generosity allows us to cultivate not only food but also hope and resilience within our community.

“Community vegetable gardens enhance sustainability by enabling residents to grow food, connect with nature, and promote biodiversity. They provide fresh produce, strengthen community bonds, and raise conservation awareness, encouraging local ecosystem protection. Ultimately, they showcase the benefits of collaboration for environmental and community health.”

Come and join our team of volunteers, create change and make meaningful impact to families and individuals in and around Exeter.
